1. Who We Are

These terms apply to services provided by JLP Plumbing & Bathrooms ("we", "us", "our"), based at Business Centre West, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, SG6 2HB. You can contact us on 01462 510001 or at info@jlpplumbing.co.uk.

2. Quotations & Estimates

Quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A quotation is based on the information available at the time. Where additional work is required, for example, hidden damage uncovered once work begins, we will discuss this with you and agree any change in cost before proceeding.

3. Bookings & Call-Outs

A call-out fee applies to plumbing services. Emergency call-outs outside standard working hours (9am to 5pm, Mon to Fri) or outside Hertfordshire are charged at a higher rate. We will confirm the applicable rate before attending wherever possible.

4. Payment

Payment terms are agreed before work begins. For larger projects, a deposit may be required to secure materials and dates, with the balance due on completion. We will always make payment terms clear in writing in your quotation.

5. Workmanship & Guarantees

We carry out all work to a professional standard in line with relevant industry guidance and best practice. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products. Any guarantee on our workmanship will be confirmed in writing for your specific project.

6. Insurance

JLP Plumbing & Bathrooms holds employer's liability and public liability insurance. Details are available on request.

7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Where materials have already been ordered or work has commenced, reasonable costs incurred may be chargeable.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.

9. This Website

The content of this website is for general information about our services. While we aim to keep it accurate and up to date, it does not constitute a contractual offer. Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
